After 15 years of operation, the municipal utility Kiel had decided to replace the old CHP plant with a new, more efficient SES-HPC 400 N. Due to the plant location in the middle of a residential area, high requirements in terms of noise protection had to be met. The modern, more efficient facility also ensures a higher reduction of CO2 emissions.
