The energy-efficient modernisation of the historic police station in Berlin-Tempelhof saves energy costs and CO2. Together with the local public utility 'Berliner Stadtwerke', we installed a CHP plant considering the strict requirements of monument protection and which is now nominated as 'CHP of the month'.
In the course of the project the Berliner Stadtwerke built a completely new energy central which supplies the police station with cold and heat and consists of a CHP plant type SES-HPC 450 N and three condensing boilers.
With the installation of this modern technology, another step to achieve Berlin's climate goals has been taken.
